{"id":1567,"date":"2020-07-10T14:23:40","date_gmt":"2020-07-10T18:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/littleflowerhollywood.org\/church\/?page_id=1567"},"modified":"2023-04-10T09:03:27","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T13:03:27","slug":"ministries","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/littleflowerhollywood.org\/church\/ministries\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Little Flower offers rewarding ways for parishioners to serve their church community!<\/p>\n<p>All those interested in volunteering, must successfully complete a safe environment training session through <a href=\"http:\/\/virtusonline.org\"><strong>Virtus Online<\/strong><\/a> and submit a completed Criminal Background Check Form as well as a complete set of fingerprints prior to serving in our parish.\u00a0 For more information call our parish office (954) 922-3517.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Liturgical Ministries<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Extraordinary Ministers<\/strong><br \/>\nThose Candidates interested in serving their parish as an Extraordinary Minister must register through their parishes and must be recommended to the ADOM Office of Worship in a letter signed by their Pastor.\u00a0 To be Commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion a person must:\u00a0 (1) Be designated by their Pastor.\u00a0 (2) Be a Catholic at least 18 year of age, who has been Confirmed and leads a life in harmony with the Faith and the Ministry to be undertaken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lectors<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Greeters \/ Hospitality<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Parish Ministries &amp; Groups<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family Ministry<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.catholicgrandparentsassociation.org\/\">Catholic Grandparents Association<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Children&#8217;s Liturgy of the Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respect Life<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>St. Vincent de Paul Society<\/strong><br \/>\nSt. Vincent de Paul holds its monthly food drive on the 1st weekend of every month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Little Flower offers rewarding ways for parishioners to serve their church community!
